About 24% of companies plan to hire in the next quarter, and other popular industries are construction, transportation, financial services, education and health services.

Kennewick-Pasco-Richland, Washington,
About 24% of employers in the Tri-Cities area are planning to hire over the next months. Heavy industries are manufacturing, food processing and services. Two employers are huge Washington State University and the Department of Energy Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
Average prices here are $ 133,134 and the unemployment rate is 8.8%.
Omaha, Neb.-Council Bluffs, Iowa,
22% of local area employers plan to hire in the next quarter. Good job prospects are construction, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, finance, education and health services and leisure and hospitality. A number of large companies make their home here, including Berkshire Hathaway, Union Pacific ConAgra Foods and Kiewit. The cost of living is low, there is little pollution and lots of things to do.

Richmond, Virginia,
As in Omaha, 22% of employers in the area of the Local Plan to hire in the next quarter. Good job prospects are construction, durable goods manufacturing, wholesale and retail, transport, education and health services, and leisure and hospitality.
The many varied industries in Richmond include chemical, food, snuff manufacturing, biotechnology, high-tech fibers and semiconductors.
